Sue Abrams, BA LLB, is an Accredited Family Law Specialist, Collaborative Lawyer, and nationally Accredited Mediator with over 35 years of experience. Since gaining Specialist Accreditation in 1995, she has built a reputation for her expertise in complex property and parenting matters, consistently recognised in Doyle’s Guide among Australia’s leading family lawyers.

While skilled in litigation, Sue’s focus is on resolution outside the courtroom. She is regularly appointed by the Family Court and peers as a mediator, helping families reach outcomes with dignity and care. Trained in mediation and collaborative practice, she now serves as Vice-President of the Australian Association of Collaborative Professionals, combining technical excellence with a client-centred approach.
