Jane has spent her career helping people through the heartbreak and complexity of separation, and she still believes in the possibility of joy and a new chapter on the other side. Jane’s approach is holistic and emotionally supportive – she knows that separation isn’t just a legal issue. It’s a life shift. She takes the time to guide her clients through both the legal process and the practical, emotional realities that come with it.

Jane works with people at every stage of the relationship cycle – from pre-nuptial agreements to post-separation parenting, from property settlements to pet custody (a subject close to her heart as a proud dog mum). She has a special interest in supporting step-families, second marriages, and people navigating life after 40.

Disrupting the Story: Rethinking How Law Does Business

The legal profession is at a crossroads. Rising client expectations, changing workforce values, and increasing competition mean the old models of practice are no longer enough. Firms that continue to prioritise billable hours, rigid hierarchies, and traditional service delivery risk being left behind.

This interactive panel brings together forward-thinking practitioners and innovators who are challenging the status quo. Together, they’ll explore how law can be practised differently — with business models that prioritise value, client experience, and long-term sustainability.
