Specialist Family Law Mediator | FDRP |  Parenting Coordinator 

Dora is a multilingual Mediator, Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner and Parenting Coordinator at Dora Ko Mediations which commenced operation in June 2025. Since then, Dora has been named as one of Brisbane’s Recommended Mediators in the 2026 Doyle’s Guide. Between 2022 to 2025, Dora served as a Judicial Registrar of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia at the Brisbane Registry. In that role she was also appointed as the Evatt Judicial Registrar for the Cairns and Darwin registries.

Prior to her court appointment, Dora worked for over a decade exclusively in family law in private practice and in the community legal sector. Dora is a first generation migrant from Hong Kong. She speaks Chinese – Cantonese and Mandarin, as well as Japanese. She has a special interest in assisting vulnerable clients who are navigating the complexities of family law and in particular, culturally and linguistically diverse clients.

In 2025, she received the Inspire CLM Diversity Ambassador Award. She is the current Vice President of the Asian Australian Lawyers Association, Queensland Branch.
